Description
Ceftriaxone is a potent antibiotic effective against a wide range of bacteria. It works by interfering with the bacteria’s ability to build cell walls, leading to bacterial cell death. Sulbactam, on the other hand, is a beta-lactamase inhibitor that prevents bacteria from breaking down ceftriaxone, enhancing its effectiveness against beta-lactamase-producing bacteria.
