Description
Lynxiclav 625 contains two active ingredients: amoxicillin, a penicillin antibiotic, and clavulanic acid, a beta-lactamase inhibitor. Amoxicillin inhibits bacterial cell wall synthesis, leading to the destruction of bacteria. Clavulanic acid enhances the activity of amoxicillin by preventing the breakdown of the antibiotic by certain bacteria, making Lynxiclav 625 effective against beta-lactamase-producing bacteria. This combination provides a broad-spectrum antibiotic effect, making it useful for various bacterial infections.
